Tranfer FactorsTM

Transfer Factor™ is a vital immune factor brought to us directly from Mother Nature, found in every mammal on earth, in their blood and in their first milk. Every mother that breast feeds her infant passes on her immunity, including much of the information her immune system has gained in her lifetime. This process begins with the first milk, called colostrum. CordyvantTM

CordyvantTM, is a proprietary polysaccharide complex of herbs and other nutrients used by herbalists and naturopaths to support the immune system. It is found in the TriFactor Plus products. Cordyvant includes:

·  IP-6 (inositol hexaphosphate)

·  Soya bean Extract (phytosterols)

·  Cordyceps sinensis (7% cordyceptic acids)

·  Beta-Glucans from baker’s yeast (Saacharomyces cerevisiae)

·  Beta-Glucans from Oats (Avena sativa)

·  Agaricus blazeii Extract

·  Mannans from Aloe vera leaf

·  Olive Leaf Extract (Olea europaea)

·  Maitake Mushroom (Grifola frondosa) - whole plant

·  Shiitake Mushroom (Lentinus edodes) - whole plant (5:1 extract)

Poly-RTM is another herbal immunostimuloatory blend produced by 4Life.

 

IP-6 (inositol hexaphosphate or phytic acid)

IP-6 is a natural glyconutrient from plants that supports the innate immune system.* A recent independent study showed that IP-6 increased NK immune cell function by 49% above baseline. Beta glucans

Beta glucans are natural carbohydrates which have been shown to have general immunostimulatory properties in animal studies and in vitro analyses (test tube studies). Among its effects are macrophage activation, tumor inhibition and decreased infection rates.

Brewer's Yeast

Brewers yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae) contains important nutrients that help promote healthy-looking skin and coat in pets.* Brewer's Yeast is found as an ingredient in Canine Complete™ and Feline Complete™.

NOTE: Cordyvant™ is an herbal immunostimulatory blend that contains a component derived from brewer's yeast called beta glucans. However, Cordyvant™ does not contain whole yeast. Cordyvant™ is found in all Transfer Factor Plus™ products. Poly-R™ is another similar herbal stimulatory blend used in the Animal Health 4Life™ product family. Poly-R™ does not contain beta glucans, but many of the products that contain Poly-R™ also contain brewer's yeast.
